Kranze Technology Solutions, Inc is currently seeing a Software Engineering Intern with a focus on DevOps for the Summer of 2026.
Responsibilities:
We are part of an SPX Technologies’ Communication Technologies platform in the Detection & Measurement business segment. KTS is focused in the defense industry specializing in Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM) systems, digital interoperability and networking, and program support for the US Navy, US Marine Corps, and Special Operations Command. We provide hardware and software product development, systems integration, system test and evaluation support, modeling and simulation analysis, and other engineering services to support the Warfighter.

Responsibilities:
- Work with system architects and software engineers to maintain, grow, and establish automated deployment, monitoring, and reporting of 40+ Android and Python apps, Linux configurations, and embedded systems.
- Collaborate with Engineering to bring new features and testing into production and release.
- Improve automated testing and results reporting.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain small scope internal-facing web apps for CI pipeline.
- Manage self-hosted Docker-based deployment of third-party services.
- College courses in support of a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related field with one or more years of college experience (Sophomores, Juniors).
- Some experience with Python, Groovy or other high level programming language.
- Some experience with Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, yum/dnf, maven, and/or gradle preferred.
- Some experience with the Linux/Unix operating systems preferred.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
As required by law in this state, the estimated salary range for this position is $25-35/hr and represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect.
