Kranze Technology Solution is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of government contracts. This role ensures compliance with all applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), company policies, and customer requirements. The Contract Manager serves as a key business partner to Program Management, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to support successful program execution and risk management.Responsibilities

KTS is focused in the defense industry specializing in Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM) systems, digital interoperability and networking, and program support for the US Navy, US Marine Corps, and Special Operations Command. - Manage the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle, including proposal review, contract negotiation, award, administration, modification, and closeout
- Lead contract negotiations with U.S. Government agencies and prime contractors
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, ITAR/EAR, and other applicable regulations
- Review and analyze Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quote (RFQs), statements of work (SOWs), terms and conditions, and other contractual documents
- Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies to internal stakeholders
- Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms, amendments, change orders and subcontracts
- Serve as the primary contracts point of contact for assigned programs and customers
- Partner with Program Management to monitor contract performance, scope, schedule, funding, and deliverables
- Support audits and compliance reviews (e.g., DCAA, DCMA) as required
- Maintain accurate contract files and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on contractual obligations and compliance matters
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Finance, Law, or related field
- [5+ years] of progressive contract management experience, preferably within the defense or aerospace industry
- Strong working knowledge of FAR and DFARS
- Demonstrated experience negotiating complex government contracts
- Ability to interpret legal language and translate contractual requirements into actionable guidance
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with contract management systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Active or ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance, which requires US Citizenship
- Master’s degree
- NCMA certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM)
- Experience supporting DoD, aerospace, or intelligence community programs
- Experience with cost‑reimbursement, fixed‑price, and hybrid contract types
